Probably ditching this goddamn blog.

I'm tempted to close this blog and move to LJ. Seriously. Most of my Internet friends are there.

Changing email addresses is a major, major pain in the ass here. It just fucking refuses to accept my Gmail addy ...

Mumbai terror attacks - post continued

Also, I'd like to offer my deepest condolences for the families of those who lost their lives.

I agree with Aamir Khan when he says that terror has no religion. Tell me, do bullets and discriminite between people of different religions? I'm sure everyone -regardless of their beliefs - is worried, shocked, scared and angered by this audacious attack.

I feel sorry in particular for baby Moshe's plight - only two years old, he's lost his parents to the terrorists' bullets at Nariman House and he is unaware about it.

Terrorism and its perpetrators must be dealt with an iron hand. We do NOT need another attack to be described as India's 9/11.

To echo NDTV, Enough is enough. The goverment had better get its act together.

And as for Mr R R Patil, I think he should resign. Terror attacks are not "just another small thing"!

Mumbai Terror Attacks

Just thinking about them sends a chill down my spine. I am following the news on various channels even now. "Horrible" is not sufficient to describe them. This is the worst terror attack I've ever seen.

I salute the officers who laid down their lives for the country and the commandos who rescued many of those trapped.

I hope the politicians wake up from their deep slumber and improve overall security, and not dismiss this as a, and I quote, "small incident". This indifference and insensitivity disgusts common people!

The latest Naruto and fanfiction

I started work on a crazy DBZ Sue parody today. Hehe ... it's great fun! XDD

Moving on ...

I hope Kakashi doesn't die; I think it's too early for him to hit the bucket. He's got to become the sixth Hokage, you know. 8D

And besides, we need to see his face. I'll be on top of the world then! XDDD

My blog's back in action

I guess this semester made me forget about my blog for quite a while ... Eh.

Yesterday, I shopped at a fair. The food wasn't good (one of my friends, S-, should've chosen a better stall!) but I did manage to buy some good stuff: three pairs of earrings and a pair of bangles. There were no toilets to be seen, that and all the walking I had to do left me dog-tired at the end of the day.

It's Sunday night now, and I'd better head to bed if I don't want to wake up late tomorrow.

But before that ... another post.

Meeting an old, old friend

An old school friend dropped by today. We had a super-long chat about nearly everything under the sun: from college life to a tiny bit about politics.

I have rediscovered a kindred spirit. 'Nuff said!

College Today: A Dud of a Seminar

I saw my results yesterday. 'Twas too close to fail for comfort.

I attended a symposium organised by our department today, and man was it an amazing failure in my opinion. The guests had to be accommodated in the main seminar hall, which meant that we host students had to go to an adjoining room and view the seminar via video-conference. All fine in theory.

But ... there was only video and no audio, which means everyone who were in the adjoining room (including yours truly) quickly lost all interest and were just keen for the lunch. I don't blame the technical guys, though, they did try their best. It didn't work.

My friends and I were busy posing for and taking photographs to kill time before lunch. :P We also shared some files via Bluetooth and some others were playing mp3s (or the FM Radio) full-blast from their mobiles even when teachers were around.

I now have the song Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi from Jaane Tu ... Ya Jaane Na in my little collection of MP3s. *listens*
